I took my client (physically disabled, I took her to target for a day out in her wheelchair. I mention this for you to understand the influence this had on her) to target, when we finished our shopping and went to the line, it was busy. understandable for the rush of lines. however I am disgusted about how one staff member treated both myself and my client. She called for the next register, and I looked at the signs saying they were card but my client had cash, so I thought “that’s okay i’ll wait for the cashier register” and offered a lady behind me to go through instead. as I was about to let her through, one female staff (an older, light hair with glasses wearing a blue face mask) shouted “next register please!” with quite a rude tone. I explained to her “it’s okay i have cash she can go” and instead of simply explaining that it was a cash register, she yelled again (which frightened my client) “go to the register!” in a harsh tone. i was quite shocked about the way she spoke. I was still confused but walked ahead. although this already made us uncomfortable, but as I turn around after paying for my client’s things, I see the lady look straight at me and I hear her talk about myself and my client right in front of us to another young staff with dark long hair. Come on guys. I see that as very immature. If we have created any sort inconvenience to you, at least speak about it once we leave, not in front of us to make us feel small. The other staff shook her head. Not only did my client start having tremors when we left the place, but she was frightened. This is was such a disheartening and embarrassing experience. would you liked to be yelled at in front of everyone? over such a small misunderstanding? I understand some people may have bad days and that the store was quite busy, but no person should ever have to experience the type of treatment myself and my client had today. no excuses.
A great shopping experience very pleasant staff member to assist at the front of the store. As l returned twice in the one day to make a purchase.
Lady in charge of change area just ignored me it looked like she did not want to be there. Some items of clothing not available as advertised on website.
We dealt with Tayla and found her to be extremely helpful and friendly.
Love the layout and appearance of the store but always feel a bit sad when I think back to what Target used to be in its heyday. It's no longer a department store as they've severely reduced their product lines to mainly (unfashionable) clothing. The store is always empty, and I often walk out empty handed.
The lighting is horrible. The way the store is laid out is hard to navigate around. Racks are packed close together. Not the usually target experience.
Of all the click and collect places, this would have to be close to the worst. Waiting for over 40 minutes, items not packed, literally 15 people are standing around all waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I've only bought a few tshirts and a pair of pants, you'd think that someone in this store would have an IQ above 80 that could perhaps organise a system to save time and pack these orders. Seem like we'll all be waiting long into the afternoon before anything gets done. Luckily KMart isn't too far away, I'll be sure to take my business there in future.
Included is a subtle picture of all the people who've been here for the past 40+ minutes who are sick of waiting.
Do not lay-by here. There is no warning and they remove everything to do with you and your money if you go over by a day.
I had paid to lay-by Christmas items two months prior to Christmas and after 5weeks returned to get my layby that I had paid almost in full, as I just needed somewhere to hide the gifts... And items had been returned to the shelves and no recollection of my purchase... I had to then show my bank details transaction and layby receipt to get my refund of the lay-by minus their fee. To top things off the items I had put on lay-by had now sold out. Total waste of time and money.
No refund given when they returned the items to the shelf... They kept my money until I went in with my receipts.
At least Kmart return your funds if you don't collect your click and collect in time.
I don't like that you are FORCED to serve yourself. There literally isn't an option for a human to serve you...
